DULUTH, GA – The Atlanta Gladiators delivered a strong performance on Women in Business Night, earning a 3-1 victory over the Bloomington Bison.
The first period was full of energy as both teams came out fast, but neither could find the back of the net. The goaltenders made key saves to keep the game scoreless heading into the second period.
The Gladiators struck first when Patriks Marcinkevics found the back of the net, putting Atlanta in the lead. The Bison responded with a goal from Eddie Matsushima, tying the game. But the Gladiators didn’t let up—Cody Sylvester capitalized on a scoring chance to restore the lead before the period ended.
The Gladiators carried their momentum into the final period. Michael Marchesan added another goal to extend the lead, and the team’s defense held off the Bison for the remainder of the game. Strong goaltending kept Bloomington from making a comeback, locking in a well-earned 3-1 victory.
Women in Business Night was a celebration of hard work, leadership, and success. Throughout the night, amazing businesswomen were featured on the Jumbotron. The energy from the crowd made the night even more special, and the Gladiators fed off that excitement to bring home the win.
