I often find myself in the midst of the action, and there’s no better action than a Friday night game under the lights. On April 19th, I had the pleasure of capturing the Gwinnett Stripers as they battled it out against the Memphis Redbirds at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville, GA.
Despite the Stripers taking a tough “L” 1-4 loss, the game was filled with moments that reminded me why I love watching baseball.
While the scoreboard didn’t reflect the Stripers’ hope this time, it did show that each game is more than just a score; it’s about the shared moments and the love for the game.
As the sun set over the Coolray Field, the lights took over, casting a warm glow over the diamond. The rather warm night with a random cool breeze ended with an amazing fireworks show.
